As per the previous post about her training in the US, Dambi has officially landed in LA! And she’s been quick to update her cyworld with pictures. The comments don’t make much sense out of Korean, so unless a native speaker can translate them, they’re just going to be left as is..

Forgive me if I’ve butchered the name/gotten it completely wrong, but it looks as if Dambi’s hanging out with her friend, Hanarang (하나랑), during her off-time. It’s nice to know that Dambi got a bit of rest before heading off to LA.

Singer Son Dambi will stay in LA for a month to record her first regular album that will come out next year, and she will also receive vocal and dance training there.

The dance training will take place at the famous Millennium Dance Complex, where Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez were trained, and the recording will take place at RMC Studio, which belongs to Madonna’s producer Peter Rafelson.

Son’s first regular album will feature a new classy image with songs commissioned to famous US musicians.

Also, her month-long stay in LA will be taped on video for a 12-part series to air on the cable channel Hana TV next year.

The video will include not only her work and training but also various LA hotspots that Son will visit and introduce to viewers, including shopping areas and unique restaurants.

This one she looks to be a lot happier with, calling it her favourite photo (out of the bunch). The last sentence is kind of random though. If Google Translations is to be trusted, she says she likes aliens!?

It’s been proven that Dambi plus Buckaroo equals hotness, and these set of pictures from the winter season are no exception. She posted these on her cyworld with a big smilie face and it’s no wonder — she looks smoking!

Dambi joined the ranks of other stars yesterday by throwing the first pitch for the SK Wyverns in game 6 of the series against the Doosan Bears. And while we know it’s all a big publicity stunt, we can’t help but smile at Dambi’s innovative methods.

Unfortunately, despite her wild stance, Dambi nonetheless makes a lofty throw in the fashion of previous female K-stars.

But at least she had fun, and it’s always good to see more of Dambi.

This comment doesn’t translate so well, but it says something along the lines of Dambi loving global exports? As in, foreign products (in this case Starbucks)? Anyway, what’s recognizable is her signature headphones. And also what looks to be a new (and customized?!) iPod (if you recall, she had a green Nano in the Cry Eye MV).
